National Twin Loss Support is proud to have as its Patron, well known South Australian University Lecturer and author, Dr Jane Warland PhD. Dr Warland is the author of the books, “Our Baby Died”, “Pregnancy After Loss”, and “The Midwife and the Bereaved Family”, and is highly sought after as a guest speaker at medical conventions and bereavement care conferences around Australia and overseas.

She has over 30 years nursing experience and is currently a Lecturer in Nursing at the University of South Australia. Dr Warland’s work in the area of Perinatal loss, and the grief experienced by infant loss families is widely respected by medical colleagues, as well as by bereavement care organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Warland is a strong supporter of volunteer, community based bereavement care organisations and is currently involved with SIDS and Kids SA as a Board member, and with the Australian and New Zealand Stillbirth Alliance as a Committee member.
